This place should not be in business at all please do not support them. Their animals are clearly neglected. Check out the Ball python covered in mites. The veiled chameleon that can’t even shed properly due to the low humidity. I wish I never walked in there other than to expose their ANIMAL CRUELTY

This used to be my favorite store, but today will be my last time going to that store. The last 3 times I’ve gone ive had issues. Parasitic cherry shrimp, aquarium sand that floats when you add water, and today I went because it was convenient to get crickets. I had needed them for the last few days and I was in the area so I thought what the heck. I got 40 small crickets and left and sat them on the floor of the passenger side of my car in the shade like I always do, but they didn’t add any cardboard with the crickets for them to climb on, so the crickets just fall in the corners and get smothered in a ball of heat and died before I got home, which was a 6 mim drive. When I went back to get them replaced, I was able to get them replaced with no extra charge, but when I told the person that got my crickets they all died, I was met with disrespect, with him saying I ”left them in the car to long“ and that I “need to drive faster“. Animal antics, and Urban Pet and plants are a further drive for me, but they add cardboard with the crickets so they have something to walk on so they don’t smother themselves in a ball of heat. I honestly wasn’t planning on posting about this because I didn’t want one bad experience to reflect badly on the whole store since I’ve had plenty of positive experiences there over the years. But since I haven’t gotten any response back after reaching out privately, I feel like I should share what happened. I’ve been coming to Cedar Pet Supply in St. George for years. I actually bought my snakes there a couple years ago and I’ve been buying feeder mice and rats there ever since. I’ve never had an issue with any employee before this. On Monday 6/1, I came in to buy live feeder mice and a rat for my snakes. At checkout, I asked the employee helping me, Billy, if he could please tape the box really well or double box it because I’ve had mice chew out before while driving home and I didn’t want that happening again. Instead of just doing it, he looked at me with attitude and said, “What are you trying to kill them?” I explained no, I just didn’t want them escaping because it had happened before. He still kept looking at me like I was dumb, so I explained they were for my snake anyway. Every other time I’ve been in the store, the employees helping me have always done what I asked

I bought a puppy from there, the entire time the staff was extremely nice and extremely helpful. Anytime I had a question they answered it and the whole application process was a little difficult but they made sure that we were understanding the process and walked us through the whole time

came in tonight just to look around because me and my friend had never been before. the employees were all really nice! we went through the whole store and they have a really good selection of animals. if i ever decide to get fish again i will come here instead of a big chain store. the dogs and cats were so adorable and you can tell they really care about them here. they get long breaks out of their display windows multiple times a day. and you can play with them for 10-15 minutes. well we played with lotso. oh my shit he is the cutest thing on earth and i wish i could adopt him but im broke 😺. we played with him for about 20 minutes and he just loved us and my shoelaces lol. he loved to climb up on our laps and lick our faces. and was the happiest guy. we wanted to play with xena too but she was in quarantine for 24 hours. it's nice to know they do that for all their animals when sick. lots of other places wouldn't even bother. i would 100% recommend coming here. the prices were not bad for the dogs and cats i just don't have the money. SOMEONE ADOPT THIS GUY HES THE BEST
